Six Flags virtual Polaroids

Labor Day + Six Flags + cell phone camera + digital technology = Virtual Polaroid photos from Six Flags Over Texas

On Labor Day, I took the kids (M, L, and one of L's friends) to Six Flags for the day. When Labor Day rolls around next year, would someone remind me not to do that again? I.e., it was WAY too crowded. But we had a good time nonetheless...

M and I enjoy a ride on the Shock Wave roller coaster. Can you imagine holding a Polaroid camera out in front of you to snap a self-portrait during a roller coaster ride (and then catch the picture when it slides out the front of the camera?) Neither can I. That's why these are "virtual Polaroids" -- pics taken on my cell phone camera and digitally edited into Polaroid frames so that they look like the "real thing". Enjoy!

M is tall enough to ride the Tony Hawk Big Spin...

Not exactly like skateboarding, but still fun... the Tony Hawk ride was kind of like a Tilt-a-Whirl on a roller coaster track.

Long lines were the order of the day. Fortunately, it was only an hour from this sign.
